
It’s pretty easy to get in a food rut. I’m finding I’m eating a lot of the same food often. This makes it easier for prepping meals on the go, but it can get old. It may be time to shake things up a little bit.
Breakfast: applesauce, peaches, coffee+unsweetened almond milk
Snack: mini Lara bar
Lunch: cashews, pineapple, guacamole and carrots,
Snack: clementine, Lara bar
Dinner:jicama fajitas with onion green pepper lettuce salsa tomato and guacamole, cut steamed sweet potatoes with Dijon mustard
Snack: handful of cashews
Takeaway: the past two days have been tough. I did have enough energy to run 3.5 miles after work and do three loads of laundry, but I’m so tired. I also had to resist the urge from eating one of my kid’s Doritos again (what a weird craving). It was really tempting not to make a Target run and grab my favorite Starbucks drink. A nice pop sounds good too. Either way I’m holding steady. Thank goodness for Lara Bars.
