I thought it was just me, but I read recently something about Whole30 that made me feel a little better. There will be days where you aren’t very hungry and nothing sounds good and other days you’ll want to eat anything and everything and still be hungry. (I feel like this can happen when you’re not doing Whole30 too.). It’s said this is particularly true for the first two weeks. Your proteins and fibers are supposedly balancing out?
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, coffee with unsweetened almond milk
Lunch: strawberries, guacamole, carrots, Lara bar, unsweetened coconut flakes/raisins/unsweetened cocoa chips
Snack: chunked pineapple
Dinner: chunked sweet potatoes with Dijon mustard, mashed potatoes, vegetable soup with cauliflower gnocchi, green beans, carrot juice with orange juice
Snack: mini Lara bar, banana blended in unsweetened almond milk and almond butter topped with cinnamon.
Takeaway: Today I had to just convince myself it was going to be one of those days. But I made it. Now for the final 10 day countdown. The real challenge is to not go crazy with bad food after completing the challenge. I’m already fantasizing about whether to get pizza and beer OR Taco Bell?
