Just a Midwest mom working on my own Pursuit of the MotYA. Outside of being an author and blogger. I’m also a wife and mother of two. I married my high school sweetheart. We met at the ripe young age of 14 and 15! Now we are both teachers. We have two beautiful little ones. Dawson (named after Andre Dawson) is 6 years old. Brixsyn Ivy (notice the reference?) is 4 going on 14! Yes our family is full of Chicago Cubs fans. I am also a supporter of independent bookstores, education activist, lacto-ovo vegetarian, and avid coffee drinker.
